How to join or leave the iOS beta app program

As you start testing the beta app on your device, you may run into some bugs. When you do find issues, please add a report to the bugs-feature-request channel on Discord.

Join the iOS beta app program:

Important: To get the beta version of our app, the original app must already be installed on your device. The beta app WILL replace the original app on your device.

Make sure the Legacy AI Dungeon app is installed on your device but not currently running.
Open the App Store.
At the bottom right, tap the search icon.
In the search bar, type TestFlight.
Download the TestFlight app by Apple.
Use this link to join the beta: testflight.apple.com/join/C2GutIHM
Start testing the new AI Dungeon app!

Leave the iOS beta app program (revert back to Legacy AI Dungeon):

Important: Reverting back to the Legacy app will replace the beta app on your device. The Legacy app and the beta app can not be on your device at the same time. If you’d like to keep the beta app but also access Legacy, we recommend using the browser version of AI Dungeon on your device, still available at play.aidungeon.io.

Delete the TestFlight app from your device.
Delete the AI Dungeon app from your device.
Redownload the AI Dungeon app on your device.
Start using the Legacy AI Dungeon app!
